Initial consultations require a little more time in order for VVP to get to know you and your pet. I will spend time asking questions about your pets routine, lifestyle and environment before conducting physical assessments. All consultations include postural and dynamic assessment, a thorough musculoskeletal assessment, followed by an appropriate physiotherapy treatment and a treatment plan going forward which includes your aims and goals. Treatment plans may be altered at follow up consultations to meet aims or progress outcomes

Initial consultations can last up to 90 minutes
Follow up appointments last 45- 60 minutes

Yes! VVP offers mobile animal physiotherapy service in the comfort of your animals home or stable.

VVP Travels across Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex and Berkshire. Travel cost will be included for journeys up to 15 miles from VVP base

Absolutely, following each consultation exercises will be discussed and demonstrated and taught to you to ensure your pet gets the best out of their physiotherapy programme. Each exercise will be tailored to your animals needs, goals and your aims and will be adjusted accordingly for the best results

After every session you’ll receive a written report including everything found and discussed during the consultation. These reports are also shared with your veterinarian to ensure they’re up to date with all treatments

Vulcan Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse to treat your animal and refer you back to your referring veterinarian, should I believe your animal is exhibiting a change in their clinical condition which requires veterinary attention.

VVP provides laser therapy, ultrasound therapy, TENs and NMES. Electrotherapy will be applied if it is deemed appropriate during consultation.

Appointments cancelled within 48 hours will be subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation cost. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please contact on vulcanvetphysio@ gmail.com. Cancellation may be waived if under extenuating circumstances. Thank you for your understanding!
